About Camp Colton

Camp Colton is a beautiful camp located on 80 acres and started in the 1920's as a Church camp. The camp is surrounded by giant trees, small creeks, ferns, ivy, and rustic buildings, but what truly drew us in was the elegant and quaint wooden chapel. Redone 1999 the chapel is originally a World War II army Chapel that was moved and rebuilt on it's current location in 1947. The wooden structure, high ceilings, resonating sound, and overall feel add up to the perfect chapel for Annie and Me to start our life.

Colton, Oregon is a small town in the rural North Willamette Valley. It started in the early 1900's with a group of Swedish Lutherans and continues today as a small town of about 3,000. Originally to be called Gorbett the post office believe it would be confused with Corbett so they renamed it Colton.
